We exclusively serve commercial sectors including hospitality, senior housing, healthcare, commercial offices, municipalities, multifamily living, and institutional markets.SUMMARY: The Field Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and revenue streams for BlueTeam's roofing division. In this role, you will be tasked with driving and delivering sales of commercial roofs to property owners who have experienced storm/hail/wind damage and are looking to utilize their insurance policy to replace their damaged roof.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary responsibility is to sell BlueTeam's roofing restoration services to commercial building owners via the following activities:Storm AnalysisHail Damage ScoutingCold Calling on Buildings / PropertiesRoof InspectionExecuting Restoration Service Agreements with Building Owners / Property ManagersCommunication to Management, Home Office Team and CustomerManage all phases of the sales cycle for each opportunity/lead.Proactively source, strategize, and develop new client relationships and referrals.Discuss Property Loss Assessments (PLA) and other benefits of pre-disaster planning with potential clients.Generate leads and sell new accountsConduct market research to identify key target customersMaintain and grow existing relationships to drive more business opportunities.Travel will be required to major disaster sites in various areas of the country on short noticeTravel is required to prospect and visit clients regularlyQUALIFICATIONS:Candidates must be enthusiastic and demonstrate success in meeting sales targetsSelf-starter, driven and results focusedExceptional sales, negotiation, and communication skillsPlanning, organization, and time management skillsCustomer service and new account development experienceUnderstand roofing processes a plusProficiency with e-mail (MS Outlook), MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS WordExperience utilizing CRM software to track KPIs and sales cycleComprehend client organizational structure to ensure a high level of client contact and to identify additional opportunities within a client organization24/7 availability and reachability by team and clients requiredEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field from a four-year college or university; or10+ years proven B2B sales experience, preferably in commercial or residential roofing restoration.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This role is a physically demanding, field-based role that requires frequent hands-on inspections of roofs, often in extreme weather conditions. The position involves a mix of ladder climbing, navigating rooftops, and transporting equipment, alongside the expected sales and presentation duties. Physical requirements include ladder climbing at heights, walking and balancing on roofs, lifting and carrying, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, using hands and fingers to handle tools, materials, and take photos, and ability to see details at close range to assess damage or measure roof components.
