Material Handler: 3rd shift

Material HandlerThe Material Handler will process parts through the organization. Material Handlers make sure production areas are fully stocked and have the products they need to fulfill orders and move quickly.We are a leading manufacturer, distributor, and fleet sales expert of premium truck bodies with commercial upfit for vocational markets nationwide. We strive for a pioneering attitude and a focused commitment to innovation in all we do.Position Responsibilities:Adhere to all safety procedures, processes, and PPE usageMaintain 5S of work areaRequired to operate forklift, pallet jack and dollies throughout manufacturing facilityMaintain all quality specifications of work taskDeliver parts, supplies and products to the loading dockLoad/unload trailersPull stock from inventoryDrive and stage trucks, bumpers or other accessoriesPerform other assignments as requiredPosition Qualifications & Requirements:Education / Certifications:High School diploma or GED preferredExperience:Entry level Tier 1 = 0-1 years experiencePrior manufacturing experienceKnowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies preferredSkills and Abilities:Ability to work overtime and varied shift assignments as requiredAbility to stand 8-10 hoursMust have 20/40 vision with or without corrective lensesAbility to read a load list and pick materials/partsBasic math and computer skillsAbility to work inside and outside of the facility in all types of weatherAbility to operate a cranePhysical Requirements:Have 20/40 vision with or without corrective lensesWork environment:Fast-paced manufacturingNon-controlled temperaturesMust be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, steel toe boots, respiratory protection (if applicable)Travel: NoneThe Reading Group, LLC (TRG) does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, ancestry veteran status or any other status protected by law.
