Acknowledged as a Best Children's Hospital by a leading publication, we facilitate the advanced treatments necessary for delivering outstanding care.Position OverviewOur Division of Nephrology is excited to welcome a full-time Pediatric Nephrologist to our vibrant and expanding team. Ranked #39 by a prominent healthcare ranking organization, our division stands as the largest pediatric nephrology program in the Southwest. Our team comprises 11 board-certified nephrologists and a nurse practitioner, offering care across six satellite locations in the Valley, as well as in Flagstaff and Yuma.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in multi-disciplinary clinics throughout the hospital, including Spina Bifida, Fontan, Stone Clinic, Long-Term Follow-up from BMT, and Lupus Clinic.Engage actively in inpatient care, supporting 484 inpatient beds, which include 153 intensive care beds (PICU, CVICU, NICU).Contribute to Arizona's only dedicated pediatric dialysis center, providing outpatient and inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis to around 40 prevalent patients.Be involved in a comprehensive Continuous Kidney Replacement Therapy (CKRT) program.Participate in educational and innovative initiatives, holding academic appointments at local medical schools and engaging in clinical and translational research.Fellowship OpportunityWe are excited to announce the initiation of our Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship program.
