Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chaplain role based in Baltimore, MD. The Chaplain will provide spiritual support and guidance to patients, families, and staff, tailored to individual needs and beliefs. They will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to address emotional and spiritual needs, offer grief support, and assist in creating meaningful end-of-life experiences. Additional responsibilities include organizing spiritual services and maintaining documentation of patient interactions. Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful relationships with patients, families, and team members.Experience in providing spiritual care, grief counseling, and emotional support to individuals from diverse faiths and cultural backgrounds.Knowledge of hospice care principles and the ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team setting.Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively, including documentation and planning services.A master's degree in divinity, theology, or a related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., Clinical Pastoral Education).Ability to maintain an empathetic, non-judgmental approach while respecting diverse beliefs and values.Experience in providing support in healthcare or hospice settings is preferred.
