If so, this may be the right position for you. We are looking for a full-time Controller to join our finance team at Rolling Hills Community Church. Ministry or church experience is a plus but not required.OBJECTIVEThe Controller is responsible for completing various accounting tasks as assigned by the Business Administration Director.GIFT/SKILL SETAdministration Self-Motivated Ability to know or learn SageOrganization Steadfast/Diligent Ability to know or learn PushPayAccuracy Basic Computer Skills Ability to know or learn Bill.comTime Management Intermediate to Advanced ExcelEXPECTATIONSLive an exemplary life, modeling the call, character, and competencies of a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.Be a servant leader to staff and teams of volunteers, as well as families and overall church body.Grow personally in his/her own leadership and ministerial abilities by reading, attending conferences, and having godly, professional mentors in his/her life.Be involved in the overall life of the church body by actively participating in a Community Group and church-wide events.Be an excited and contributing member of the RHCC Staff.ResponsibilitiesData entry and general ledger entries for all campusesComplete bank transfers and oversee reconciliationsReconciliation and review of monthly credit card chargesPreparation and delivery of weekly reportsMonthly tenant invoicing and record-keepingMonth-end analysis of accounts and financial report preparationPreparation of monthly budget and actual reports for ministry leadersYear-end contribution statements and preparation of Forms 1099Filing, storage and security of financial documentsWork in coordination with other accounting staffOversee cash handling and countingPrepare and oversee cash flow analysisGather and prepare BASE and attendance metrics reports for all campusesFile and complete quarterly tax returnsAttend and participate in monthly All-Staff meetingsAdditional responsibilities as determined by the Business Administration DirectorQualificationsAccounting Degree, MBA, or equivalentCPA a plus, but not requiredCompensationFull-Time | Exempt | Management StaffIncludes Benefits
