Warehouse Associate
Summary
The Warehouse Associate is tasked with a variety of different tasks within Korkers Warehouse. From pulling, packing and shipping customer orders to properly inventorying items as they are received. This position is also tasked with assembling finished goods using parts and basic hand tools, power tools, and hydraulic presses.
Main Responsibilities:
Production & Assembly
Assemble finished goods using parts provided, assembly instructions, and various tools and machinery
Inspect products and materials to ensure quality standards are met – reject products that are outside specifications
Communicate with team members regarding issues affecting production, including alterations to the production schedule, inventory levels of parts on hand, condition of tools and equipment used on the assembly line, quality of products etc.
Shipping
Pull, pack and ship orders based on instructions provided on packing lists
Review & follow “standing orders” and special instructions for specific customers
Ensure packages are delivered to designated freight carriers on time, and in such a way that merchandise will not be damaged in transit
Receiving
Receive, inventory and deliver to stock all incoming merchandise
Log all receiving activities in a computerized inventory system & provide documentation to supervisor
Inventory
Ensure all production and assembly items are properly counted and inventoried
Count goods in inventory as a part of ongoing cycle count efforts and accurately record information
Specific job-oriented skills and personal characteristics:
Systems Oriented – You’ll be involved in coordinating, organizing, and supporting our warehouse and production efforts working on a variety different projects. This position requires someone who is extremely organized, able to multi-task, and excel in a fast paced environment.

Education/Experience/Requirements:
High School Diploma
Ability to read, write and speak English
Experience in warehouse, distribution and shipping operations
Familiarity with freight carriers such as UPS, Federal Express, USPS
Ability to lift 50+ lbs, and to stand and walk for extended periods
Basic math skills
Experience with a PC
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
