Join Green Bay Packaging as a Cutting Operator, where you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality packaging solutions.In this position, you will set up, operate, and maintain die-cutting machines to cut, crease, and shape paperboard and other substrates. You’ll ensure accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production efficiency while contributing to a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Essential Job Functions But Not Limited ToPerform off-press and on-press make-readies accurately and efficiently.Set up and operate die-cutting presses according to job specifications.Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly.Collaborate with team members and management to meet production goals and deadlines.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to identify changes in materials or processes.Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems.Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the job, which may include:Lifting up to 50 poundsStanding, bending, turning, and walking, including stairsMust be able to work either 3rd Shift (10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday) with occasional overtime/weekend work.Complete up to 120 days of training on 1st Shift (6am–2pm, Monday–Friday).Experience with automated die-cutting, stripping, and carton blanking systems is a plus but not required.Compensation & BenefitsWe offer a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverageWellness programsShort-term and long-term disabilityLife insuranceCompany 401(k) and pension planAbout Green Bay PackagingFounded in 1933, Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a family-owned, vertically integrated company with over 40 facilities across 16 states.
