Description Job Overview A Boynton Beach based company is seeking an attorney with operational/management experience to serve in a position level of Senior Management - Legal Operations. What You'll Do Recruiting and engaging with qualified candidates Onboarding, training, and supporting new hires Managing, developing, and supporting direct reports Developing, modifying, and implementing policies and procedures Developing and automating workflows and forms using software and technology Providing quality control and actively engaging with operations to ensure compliance Overseeing HR-related functions, such as payroll, evaluations, and retirement benefits Performance-based management of direct reports based on KPI's in a positive manner Developing, modifying, and monitoring job descriptions and design Utilizing modern technology for automation and increased productivity Working with and effectively managing vendors of the firm Compensation Salary: Up to $125,000 per year (including quarterly bonus compensation based on performance) Full-time (40 hours/week, occasionally 45-50 hour/week), up to $125,000 per year (including quarterly bonus compensation based on performance) Benefits 401(k) plan with employer match Health insurance Dental insurance PTO (10 federal holidays, 10 days PTO, 6 days sick leave) 90-day probationary period generally Requirements What it takes: Are you a proven, tech-savvy operations manager who thrives on developing members of your team, and developing policies and procedures (systems) in a fast-paced environment? If so, you may just be a great fit to be our next Operations Manager! We are a fast-paced, growing Legal Services Plan searching for a proven, performance-oriented operations manager who has substantial skills, experience, and knowledge with recruiting, training, and managing direct reports, and also with developing, modifying, and implementing policies and procedures in a strategic, thoughtful way. Experience in a professional services firm would be highly preferred, including law firms, financial services firms, CPA firms, and similar white collar professional services businesses that are governed by significant risk management protocols. You should have a proven track record of working with 6-8 direct reports in a company with at least 15-20 employees. You will be a great fit if you are a results-oriented professional focused on delivering tangible value; your job performance and compensation will be objectively evaluated and determined on deliverables, and similarly, you will objectively manage, develop, and evaluate staff based on their job performance. We are looking for a proven operations manager who has already built up skills, experience, and knowledge to do the job. This is not a position for you to learn how to be an operations manager, but for someone who has done it successfully before. Required qualifications include 5 years full-time, substantial operations experience with progressively increasing responsibilities At least 2 years of full-time experience supervising teams and vendors Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Well-versed in modern technology and software Demonstrated success in intake/reception oversight, and billing/AR coordination Track record of strategic, ongoing professional development and learning Preferred qualifications include Law firm or professional services background (including substantial operations experience in a CPA office, financial services office, medical office, dental office, and other professional services background) Candidates with ALA/CLM, SHRM, Lean/Six Sigma, or PMP credentials and professional development, will be given special consideration Extremely organized and detail oriented Sound judgment and creative problem solver Effective in engaging with different personalities in a wide variety of contexts Please note that Veritas Legal Plan, Inc participates in E-Verify according to state regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
