Position Overview Permanent, full-time role 36 hours per week Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM EPIC electronic medical record system Large acute-care facility (450 beds) Collaborative team environment Shift Details 12-hour night shifts (6p–6:30a) Every other weekend required Call required as needed Variable scheduling opportunities based on department needs Compensation & Incentives Certified Respiratory Care Practitioner (CRT): $23.36 – $35.04/hour Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT): $24.72 – $37.07/hour Shift differentials available Frequent salary increases and market adjustments Career Path Program offering additional compensation opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed Conduct patient assessments and adjust care plans accordingly Review and maintain individualized respiratory care plans Administer respiratory therapies and treatment modalities Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Accurately document all care in EPIC EMR Assist as a preceptor for students and new hires Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality standards Procedures & Modalities Mechanical ventilation management BiPAP/CPAP therapy High-flow oxygen therapy (Airvo) Aerosol and nebulizer treatments Airway management and suctioning Arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis Metaneb therapy Equipment Utilized EPIC computerized charting (EMR) Medication and supply scanning systems Servo ventilators BiPAP machines (V60, Vision) Airvo high-flow systems MetNeb devices Standard respiratory therapy equipment Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience preferred Must be a graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Must be able to participate in on-call rotation Certifications & Licensure Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC (Required) Current Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license (Required) BLS certification (Required) ACLS and NRP certifications (Required or obtained within 6 months) PALS and STABLE preferred but not required Additional Details No floating between units Will work within a team environment (not alone) Facility size: 450 beds Dress Code - Black scrubs Why This Opportunity This role is ideal for a respiratory therapist seeking career growth within a progressive healthcare system that values professional development.
