Hardware Product Manager

Job Title: Hardware Product ManagerLocation: Atlanta, GA On-siteJob Type: Full-timeDepartment: Hardware EngineeringMin Experience: 4+ YearsAs a Hardware Product Manager you will lead the development and lifecycle of our hardware products including IoT Cameras, Security Peripherals, Solar Power Systems and Site Mounting Systems. This role will be responsible for gathering customer requirements, understanding market trends, the go-to-market process, the development schedule, working cross functionally with engineering, production, development, sales, customer support and marketing teams, and ensuring products meet quality, reliability, cost, and timeline goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in hardware development cycles, and a passion for bringing innovative physical products to market.Company Description:OxBlue, part of Hexagon, is a leading global provider of construction time-lapse and live streaming video camera services. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, we’ve helped more than 5,900 clients across 45 countries manage, monitor and market success on the jobsite.You Will:Manage and implement the product roadmap for hardware products, align with business goals and customer needs.Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, software development and software product management, third party development firms, production, procurement, and customer support to guide products from concept to launch.Capture and translate customer and market insights into clear product requirements and specifications.Work with Engineering, HW leadership to define product costs and manage bills of materials as well as propose pricing strategies.Conduct competitive analysis and identify opportunities for differentiation.Manage the product lifecycle, including updates, end-of-life planning, and transitions.Own and manage the hardware go to market processWork to identify and drive implementation of cost reductions throughout the product lifecycleManage the hardware development schedule, set targets for deliverables and milestones and help prioritize resourcesWork with HW leadership to define and track development costs and develop ROI analysisEnsure alignment across cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the product development process.Work as a member of the quality team and help drive improvements product reliability and quality performanceProvide customer feedback post-launch to drive product improvements and enhancementsYou Have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).4+ years of product management experience, strongly preferred with IoT devices, commercial or industrial hardware/electromechanical products or cameras and optics.Strong understanding of hardware development processes, including prototyping, testing, manufacturing, requirements gathering and consolidationExcellent communication and leadership skills.Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and make data-driven decisions.Bonus Points For:Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, PLM systems, and CAD viewing software is a plus.Our Perks:Health insurance paid 100% for employee and 50% for familyDental insurance paid 100% for employee401k with company matchA fun work environment: casual dress, free snacks, complimentary massages and great partiesInvestment in your professional development with internal promotions, continuing education and tuition reimbursementPaid sabbatical program: 4 weeks every 5 yearsAn award-winning culture recognized for its high level of employee satisfactionLong-term disability paid 100% for employeeLife/AD&DPaid parental leaveThe above summary of benefits is subject to change, is for informational purposes only, and does not create any contract rights to benefits.If you have what it takes and are looking for a company committed to the success of its clients and its people, we want to hear from you.Diversity and inclusion are important to OxBlue.
