Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (CF accepted with available supervisor) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with communication disorders in various settings, including hospitals, schools, and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide therapy to improve patients' communication skills
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and educators to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation
- Stay current on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in dysphagia, aphasia, and cognition is preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy related to speech and swallowing mechanisms
- Strong patient care skills with experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical environment
