PLC Programmer Needed - $40
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement PLC programs to automate and control various processes within the production environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production supervisors, to gather requirements and design effective control system solutions.
Configure, program, and troubleshoot PLC hardware and software systems, including controllers, I/O modules, HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and communication networks.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and optimal performance.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions or failures related to the control systems.
Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in PLC programming techniques, incorporating best practices into the company's control systems.
Document technical specifications, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions for PLC systems.
Provide training and technical support to operators and maintenance personnel on the use and troubleshooting of control systems.
Adhere to safety guidelines and regulatory standards to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience as a PLC Programmer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
In-depth knowledge of various PLC platforms, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider Electric.
Strong understanding of industrial control systems, including sensors, actuators, motor controls, and safety devices.
Familiarity with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and their integration with PLCs.
Experience with HMI development and configuration.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Knowledge of food industry regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, GMP) is a plus.
