Senior Data Engineer

Role Description The Senior Data Engineer is a full-time, remote role responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platforms that support analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise reporting initiatives. This role involves collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and application teams to understand data requirements, model data structures, and implement robust ETL/ELT processes. The Senior Data Engineer will optimize data warehouses and data lakes for performance and reliability, ensure data quality and integrity, and help define best practices for data engineering across projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing and deploying data solutions in cloud and on-prem environments, monitoring data workflows, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to technical documentation and standards.
