Employees in this job function are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data solutions including data infrastructure, pipelines, etc. for collecting, storing, processing and analyzing large volumes of data efficiently and accuratelyKey ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand current and future data requirementsDesign, build and maintain reliable, efficient and scalable data infrastructure for data collection, storage, transformation, and analysisPlan, design, build and maintain scalable data solutions including data pipelines, data models, and applications for efficient and reliable data workflowDesign, implement and maintain existing and future data platforms like data warehouses, data lakes, data lakehouse etc. for structured and unstructured dataDesign and develop analytical tools, algorithms, and programs to support data engineering activities like writing scripts and automating tasksEnsure optimum performance and identify improvement opportunitiesSkills RequiredPythonSkills PreferredTelematicsExperience RequiredEngineer Exp: 7+ years Data Engineering work experienceExperience Preferred5+ Years Total Technical Experience: Must have a background in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Embedded Systems.3+ Years in "Code-Based" Analytics: Demonstrated experience using Python, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to manage data (not just SQL/Tableau).Automotive/IoT Specific: Must have prior experience working with hardware-constrained environments (Vehicle Telemetry, Connected Devices, or Embedded Systems) where bandwidth and battery usage are critical factors.Education Required:Bachelor's DegreeEducation PreferredMaster's DegreeAdditional InfoAt FastTek Global, Our Purpose is Our People and Our Planet .
