This role requires a strong foundation in Android development along with a solid understanding of testing frameworks and QA practices to deliver robust, production-ready applications.You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and backend engineers in an Agile environment to build scalable mobile solutions. The role also involves contributing to testing strategies, improving application quality, and ensuring smooth integration with backend systems.Mobile Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications ensuring performance, scalability, and responsivenessUI Implementation: Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces while adhering to design standards and best practicesTesting & QA: Implement and execute UI and functional tests using tools like Espresso, UI Automator, or Jetpack Compose testing frameworksAgile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring timely and quality deliverablesCode Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and review processesIntegration: Ensure seamless integration of mobile applications with backend APIs and servicesCI/CD Support: Contribute to build and deployment pipelines, supporting automation and release processesRequired Skills & Qualifications:3+ years of experience in Android application developmentStrong experience in mobile app development and testing frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator, Jetpack Compose testing)Proficiency in Kotlin/Java and Android SDKSolid understanding of QA practices, testing strategies, and defect managementExperience working in an Agile development environmentGood understanding of REST API integration and mobile architecture patternsFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies (nice to have)Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of mobile performance optimization and best practicesExperience with version control systems (Git)
