Most importantly, our exceptional employee retention rate reflects a culture of professional growth, mission focus, and dedication—ensuring long-term stability and expertise for our customers’ critical needs.Job SummarySeeking an Agile Developer responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based applications and microservices supporting mission-critical systemsThis role involves end-to-end development across front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend data stores, leveraging modern frameworks, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-native technologiesThe Agile Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned with system requirements and user needsPrimary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack cloud-based applications and microservicesAnalyze user requirements to derive software design, functionality, and performance specificationsDesign and implement new software features and enhance existing applicationsDevelop and maintain front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)Build and integrate backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot microservices architectureDevelop and optimize data queries and interfaces for relational, NoSQL, and object-based data storesIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems and environmentsDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issuesDevelop and implement algorithms to meet system performance and functional requirementsSupport CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, and NexusAssist in developing and executing automated test procedures and frameworksWrite and maintain technical documentation, including system design and user documentationCollaborate with system engineers and stakeholders to analyze workflows, data usage, and system processesProvide recommendations to improve software development processes, documentation, and standardsServe as a technical lead, as appropriate, supporting team coordination and Agile development processesDesign and implement complex database interfaces and data repository queriesRequired QualificationsActive Top Secret clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph within the last 5 yearsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education9+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experienceStrong experience with:Java and modern Java frameworksJavaScript frameworks (React)GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, NexusModern data stores (NoSQL, relational, and object-based)Demonstrated experience in full stack development, including front-end, API, and backend data storesExperience developing Spring Boot microservices and 12-Factor applicationsFamiliarity with data serialization formats such as JSON and BSONExperience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesExperience working in cloud-native and containerized environmentsDesired QualificationsExperience with Spring Framework / Spring BootFamiliarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and TerraformExperience with Swagger/OpenAPI for API design and documentationExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) managed servicesKnowledge of system requirements decomposition, release planning, and Agile methodologiesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and DevSecOps practicesFamiliarity with Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) solutionsExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.The Pay Range For This Role Is160,000 - 220,000 USD per year(NBP)
