Node.js Developer(w2)

The Position is open for only W2 Candidates, Strictly NO C2C.Role: NodeJS Full Stack Developer (Senior)|| Onsite -MarylandQualifications:Key ResponsibilitiesApplication DevelopmentDesign, develop, and optimize web applications using Node.js, Java, Angular, and related technologies.Develop and integrate user interfaces with BI tools (Qlik, QuickSight, Power BI, etc.).Build RESTful web services and integrate with MDM applications.Implement responsive design for Web, Mobile, and Tablet platforms.Develop AWS-based services, including Lambda functions and cloud-native applications.Code Quality & TestingWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.Perform unit testing and collaborate with QA teams for performance and functional testing.Ensure high performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications.Collaboration & DeliveryWork with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.Follow CI/CD practices and automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Sonar).Participate in performance tuning and troubleshooting.Required QualificationsEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.Master’s degree preferred.Equivalent experience (3+ years) may be considered in lieu of a degree.General Experience:8+ years of programming experience in software development or maintenance.Strong expertise in Node.js, Java, Angular, React, and REST API development.Experience with AWS/cloud computing environments.Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (MV-VM/MVC) and Spring Framework.Strong knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DocumentDB).Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, and DevOps tools.Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and security integration.Skilled in front-end development (CSS, HTML, cross-browser compatibility).Specialized Experience (5+ years):IT systems analysis and programming.Document and content management systems, including OCR, metadata indexing, and search.Performance tuning of large-scale applications, document uploads, and search operations.Large-scale metadata and document migration projects.Testing with Selenium, JMeter, and other performance tools.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Data Services (MDM/R360/EDMS).Background in AI/ML projects.Familiarity with government or public sector projects in areas such as:Child SupportIntegrated EligibilityChild WelfareAdult Protective ServicesJuvenile JusticeHealth and Human ServicesStrong project management, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and environments.Please Send your Resume to: Akrao@vasssoft.com
