Technical Project Manager – Contract:Location: Alpharetta, GAWork Setup: Hybrid, 2–3 days in officeOur client is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex product migration initiatives within a fast-paced technology or telecommunications environment. This role will oversee project execution, stakeholder communication, vendor coordination, and reporting across Agile and Waterfall frameworks.Technical Project Manager ResponsibilitiesLead product migration projects from planning through execution, ensuring milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies are clearly tracked. Develop project tracking tools and systems to document milestone completion, project jeopardies, and overall project status. Provide executive-level written and oral reporting, presentations, and status updates. Lead stakeholder meetings with internal teams and external vendors. Partner cross-functionally to identify root causes, resolve process or system pain points, and support broader insights program objectives. Present findings and recommendations to leadership, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders. Technical Project Manager Qualifications3–5 years of project management experience. Experience leading projects using both Waterfall and Agile frameworks. Previous experience leading product migration projects. Strong technical product knowledge, technical literacy, and architecture understanding. Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and executive communication skills. Vendor management experience. Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience. Technical Project Manager Preferred SkillsPMP certification or project management training. Knowledge of Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma. Experience with Smartsheet, migration tools, G-Suite, and Slack. Experience in customer support, sales, customer service, or telecommunications environments.
