Your work will directly influence safety, performance, reliability, and the future of aviation technology.What You’ll DoAs a Structural Analysis Engineer, Your Responsibilities Will IncludeLeading the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements to support system designCoordinating with cross-functional engineering teams to define environmental and operational conditions for productsVerifying structural integrity using hand calculations, finite element models, simulations, and advanced analysis toolsGuiding product design decisions by evaluating structural characteristics and performance throughout the product lifecycleDeveloping test plans and configurations to validate systems and components against requirementsSupporting test execution and analyzing results to verify performance and complianceDocumenting certification and test outcomes for customers and regulatory agenciesLeading investigations into in-service failures and recommending structural improvementsDeveloping new analytical tools and processes to improve engineering quality, efficiency, and effectivenessWorking independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced engineering environmentWhat You BringRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field (ABET preferred, but not required)10+ years of relevant structural analysis experience8+ years of experience analyzing primary structures, subsystems, or weapons systems in the aerospace industryExperience performing hand calculations and structural assessmentsProficiency with industry CAD systems such as PRO-E, SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, NX/Teamcenter, or CATIA/ENOVIAExperience using FEM software such as PATRAN/NASTRAN, Stresscheck, Hyperworks, or AbaqusStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsMust be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
