VP Region Sales - Northeast
This is a remote role, located within the USA.The selected candidate will be required to live in or near the listed City/State. (NY, NJ, MA or Philadelphia, PA)Lead the regional sales forecasting process, driving accuracy and timely capture in Salesforce.com/CRM and/or other applicable tracking tools. Report region financial outcomes and planned adjustments to address any forecast to actual discrepancies.Develop and maintain strong relationships with identified key accounts within the assigned Region for support of the Canon Brand within their geographies.Collaborate with Enterprise Sales team members to ensure coverage and growth of "Classified" accounts.Attend customer meetings and dedicate time to field work assisting and coaching salespeople to prospect new business, move business deals towards closure and ensure customer satisfaction with Canon's products and solutions.Leverage customer install base spend to drive additional revenue (equipment and services) and lifecycle opportunitiesAttend customer KOL meetings, business reviews and strategic customer meetings to ensure customer satisfaction with Canon's products and solutions. Develop and implement tactics to expand sockets with current customers and show growth in competitive accounts/environments.Provide indirect supervision to the field Region Business Managers (RBMs) who provide sales support in the form of clinical and technical expertise.Partner with Sales Training to ensure that salespeople are provided adequate training in sales skills, product knowledge and operational activity.Provide direction to DGMs and direct reports (xAMs) to develop leadership skills and management capabilities to support ongoing growth of talent within the region. Actively participate in performance management for direct and indirect reports to recognize and improve achievement.,Knowledge of medical device industry, its products, customers and demonstrated fluency in product lifecycles within the healthcare enterprise.Skilled in leading and managing a sales team to win business with a variety of customers, including within complex health systems.Ability to develop successful strategies to win new business and secure the installed base.Familiarity with CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce) and ability to use data to support business decisionsAbility to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with others (internally and externally)Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.Ability to understand and express opposing points of view while maintaining positive working relationships.Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.4 Year Bachelor's Degree Equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.15 years Progressively responsible sales and management experience in diagnostic imaging; 3+ years in management.Pay Information: Base Salary: $230,000 + target incentives
