We solve challenges by leveraging the collective expertise and ingenuity of the best and brightest minds across development, design, and construction.The Role We Want You ForLJC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support architectural and multidisciplinary project teams across all phases of project delivery. This role plays a key part in maintaining project momentum by managing documentation, coordinating meetings, tracking workflows, and ensuring communication remains organized and on schedule.You will act as a central point of coordination for project teams, helping reduce administrative burden on technical staff while ensuring accurate and timely project records.The Specifics of the RoleSupport architectural project teams with day-to-day coordination and administrative tasksManage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely updatesCoordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of meeting minutesTrack project workflows, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with schedulesAssist with construction administration processes, including RFIs, submittals, and document logsMaintain clear and consistent communication across project stakeholdersSupport project teams in managing information flow between clients, consultants, and internal departmentsUtilize project management platforms (such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud) to track and manage project dataAssist with reporting, document control, and general project support functionsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights and lessons learned.Requirements3+ years of experience in project coordination or administrative role within architecture, engineering, or construction.Working knowledge of the architectural design and construction process.Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Experience with project management platforms such as Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).Familiarity with construction administration processes, including RFIs, submittals, and meeting documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Some Things You Should KnowOur clients and projects are nationwide – travel may be requiredNo other builder can offer the collaborative design-build approach that Clayco doesWe work on creative, complex, award-winning, high-profile jobsThe pace is fastThis position may be classified as a safety-sensitive role depending on project assignmentWhy Clayco & LJC?2025 Best Places to Work – St. Louis Business Journal, Los Angeles Business Journal, and Phoenix Business Journal.2025 ENR Top 400 – Top Data Center Contractor (Top 3).2025 ENR Top 100 Design-Build Firms – Design-Build Contractor (Top 5).2025 ENR Top 100 Green Contractors – Green Contractor (Top 3).BenefitsDiscretionary Annual Bonus: Subject to company and individual performanceComprehensive Benefits Package Including: Medical, dental and vision plans, 401k, generous PTO and paid company holidays, employee assistance program, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage, learning & development programs and more!CompensationThe salary range for this position considers a wide range of factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: Education, qualifications, skills, training, experience, certifications, internal equity, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The Clayco Nationwide salary range for this position is approximately $75,000 - 95,000 annually (not adjusted for location).
