Corporate Financial Controller

IBAM are working on behalf of a growing, multi-entity organization is seeking a Controller to lead core accounting operations and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across the business. This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, including financial close, reporting, controls, and audit coordination, while partnering closely with finance leadership to deliver meaningful business insights.The Controller will oversee accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit functions across U.S. and Canadian operations.What you’ll be doingLead the full accounting function, including general accounting, A/P, A/R, and creditOversee month-end close, consolidations, and financial reporting across multiple entitiesPartner with finance leadership to support reporting, analysis, and overall financial visibilityCoordinate external audits and maintain audit-ready documentationEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP (exposure to cross-border considerations is helpful)Strengthen and maintain internal controls, including reconciliations and operational processesSupport ongoing system enhancements, integrations, and process improvementsProvide support for tax-related financial inputs and documentationLead and develop a team, while partnering cross-functionally across the businessWhat we’re looking for11+ years of accounting/finance experience (mix of public + industry is ideal)Proven experience leading accounting teamsStrong background in financial reporting, close, and audit coordinationExperience in a multi-entity environment; cross-border exposure is a plusProduct-based environment experience is highly valuedERP experience; exposure to implementations or transformations is a plus
