Job Duties nBasic Qualifications nEducation Requirements: nRequires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.< /p> nClearance Requirements: nAbility to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. nResponsibilities for this Position nGeneral Dynamics Mission Systems has a need for a Senior Engineering Program Manager located in Bloomington, MN. nDuties and Tasks: nLeads the planning and ensures monitoring and control for assigned development programs nResponsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical performance for all engineering efforts nEnsures all project deliverables are developed with high quality and delivered on time nManages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the program nConducts monthly Engineering Status Reviews nManages the resolution of technical issues nEnsures that team members are recognized for their contributions nTakes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issues nAssists in Proposal and ROM development nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: n8 years project management experience leading hardware and software development teams n5 years technical experience; preferrably with embedded systems nSignificant experience using Microsoft Project nKnowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies nProven organizational and time management skills nProven communication skills nStrong leadership & mentoring skills nWhat sets you Apart nPMP Certification nHigh impact leader know for getting things done nAgile/scrum master experience nEVMS experience nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation n#LI-Hybrid nTarget salary range: USD $160,085.00/Yr. - USD $173,217.00/Yr.
