Retail ManagerWe are looking for a Retail Manager to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach.Set to open its doors in early 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand's flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality.Job OverviewUnder the general guidance of the Hotel Manager, the Retail Manager will oversee all aspects of the hotel's retail operations, ensuring a seamless, elevated shopping experience that reflects the property's brands, aesthetics, and service standards. This role is responsible for driving revenue, curating product assortments, managing inventory, leading retail staff, and delivering exceptional guest engagement while aligning with the hotel's positioning.Your Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain optimal stock levels by ordering merchandise promptly.Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize loss and manager shrinkage.Develop and implement merchandise displays that enhance the shopping experience and drive salesEnsure high levels of guest satisfaction through excellent serviceAddress and resolve guest inquiries and complaints efficiently.Implement guest service programs that encourage repeat business.Recruit, train, and mentor gift shop staff.Schedule and supervise staff shift to maximize efficiency.Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.Develop sales strategies to achieve store sales goals and maximize profitability.Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special offers and events.Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas of improvement.Maintain store cleanliness and orderliness.We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service.We will on occasion call for each individual on the team to perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service.Qualifications3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high-level attention to detailMaintain positive and productive working relationships with other team members and departmentsAbility to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamworkMust be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shiftMust be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessaryMust have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand EnglishMust be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes
