Contracts Management Staff/ Lvl 4 / Grand Prairie, TX

Contracts Management Staff You will be the Contracts Management Staff for the Contracts team. Our team is responsible for supporting contract lifecycle, negotiations, risk assessment, and stakeholder coordination across advanced programs. What you will be doing as the Contracts Management Staff you will own proposal preparation, contract administration, and close-out while providing risk-based guidance to senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead proposal preparation, briefing packages, and negotiation support for cutting-edge programs. Administer contracts, track changes in cost, schedule, and specifications, and ensure compliance. Provide risk assessments and alternative contractual language to mitigate program risks. Serve as the primary interface with Government contracting officers and DCMA representatives. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers to achieve business goals. Basic qualifications: Experience with US Government and/or International/FMS contracts Experience with contract negotiations (e.g., price, terms, schedule, etc.) Experience with FAR and DFARS Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education Desired skills: Experience in Contracting with the U.S. Government Commercial Sales Experience Research and Development Contracting Experience Experience with various OTA, CRADAs, Agreements, and licensing Knowledge of Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) EVMS/DATA Right Knowledge Excellent Communication and Customer Engagement Skills IWTA experience Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to work and lead in teams Demonstrated ability to Multi-task Demonstrate strength in problem solving Perform in a high volume, fast-paced environment Possess good customer service skills Significant experience in negotiating successful agreements/contracts Demonstrated use of innovative solutions to resolve complex problems Professionalism in dealing with challenging situations and customers (internal or external) to achieve positive results Understanding of International Trade Compliance and restrictions Previous experience working in a classified setting Security clearance statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to work remotely: Part-time remote telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
