Diesel Mechanic
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, vehicle maintenance, and automotive diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
Perform diesel engine repairs and maintenance
Perform diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles and machinery to identify mechanical issues
Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, fuel systems, electrical systems and other components
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, such oil changes, filter replacements and tire rotations
Maintain detailed records of repairs and maintenance performed
Log diagnostic results and parts used
Skills:
Proficiency in diesel engine repair
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices
Experience with brake repair and alignment procedures
Familiarity with hydraulic systems and crane operations
Ability to conduct automotive diagnostics effectively
Skilled in maintaining shocks, struts, and transmission systems
