We take pride in delivering every project with the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and productivity. *About the Position:* We are seeking motivated and experienced Hydrovac Operators to join our team. As a Hydrovac Operator, your responsibilities include driving to assigned job sites to excavate, trench, remove rocks, dirt, or other materials to locate underground utilities in a safe manner. While your exact responsibilities can vary from day to day you will be responsible for successfully operating the equipment using the on-board vacuum and high-pressure water to safely expose underground utilities, pipelines, and infrastructure. *Requirements:* * Criminal Background, Motor Vehicle History, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks required. * Subject to Pre-Employment and Random Drug Screens. * Must have a minimum CDL Class B (Class A preferred) with tanker endorsement. (Automatic Transmission). * No CDL driving restrictions. * Must have a current DOT medical certificate. * High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. * Able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods of time. * Must be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Minimum of 2-years hydrovac or related construction industry experience. * Pipeline experience preferred. * Safety certifications preferred (e.g. First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10 or 30). * Mechanical ability; and knowledge of equipment and heavy vehicle operations, maintenance, and repair in accordance with DOT regulations. *Job Duties & Responsibilities:* * Operate equipment per manufacturers and DOT regulations. * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to maintain efficiency. * Perform pre-and post-trip inspections following DOT regulations and routine. maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety before mobilizing. * Courteously interact with all customers, company employees, and the public. * Keep accurate records of daily activities, including job site conditions and service details. * Adhere to all company standards, safety policies, and work procedures at all times. * Perform other duties as assigned or required. *Physical Requirements* * Must regularly type, talk, and hear while performing job duties. * Requires ability to grasp, walk, lift, carry, push pull climb, kneel, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms and hands in small spaces throughout the day. * Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. * Must have adequate visual acuity to perform all required tasks safely. *Benefits/Compensation Include:* * Union Hourly Rate: $46.13 * Union Benefits: Health Insurance and Pension Plan * Life Insurance (Available at cost to employee) * Supplemental Accident/Hospital/Illness (Available at cost to employee) * Employee assistance program GroundBreakers LLC is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.
