This role ensures that Microsoft 365 services—including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and the broader ecosystem—support business objectives, empower users, and uphold the highest standards of security, compliance, and performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the Microsoft 365 roadmap aligned with organizational goals, digital workplace transformation, and industry best practicesOversee the day‑to‑day management, configuration, maintenance, and administration of Microsoft 365 services to ensure optimal performance and user experienceEstablish and enforce governance policies, security standards, and compliance frameworks across Microsoft 365 services in collaboration with key stakeholdersAnalyze business needs and design solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 capabilities, including automation, integrations, and custom development, ensuring successful implementationMonitor platform health, usage analytics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for service, process, and policy improvementsServe as the escalation point for critical incidents, coordinating troubleshooting efforts, engaging Microsoft support, and implementing long‑term solutions to recurring issuesDrive user adoption and effective use of Microsoft 365 tools through training, communication, and support initiatives, serving as a primary platform resource for business leaders and end usersMaintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, governance standards, policies, and procedures to ensure knowledge continuityPartner with the AI team to support Microsoft Copilot ownership, including governance alignment, configuration standards, lifecycle management, and adoption planningStay informed of Microsoft 365 updates, roadmap changes, and emerging technologies, advocating for enhancements that provide value to the organizationWhat is Expected of You and Others at This LevelIn-depth knowledge and experienceUses existing solutions to resolve complex issuesWorks independently; receives minimal guidanceActs as a resource for colleagues with less experienceCompetencies Expected Of You And Others At This LevelManages Conflict - Handling conflict situations effectively and with a minimum of noiseCommunicates Effectively - Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiencesDecision Quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forwardDirects Work - Providing direction, delegating and removing obstacles to get work doneResourcefulness - Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficientlyDemonstrates Self-Awareness - Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknessesMinimum Qualifications And SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required, Master’s Degree preferred5-10 years’ of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments at scaleDeep technical expertise in core services: Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and Teams Calling, M365 CoPilot, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Entra IDProven track record in platform governance, security, and complianceExperience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, or equivalent toolsAbility to design and deliver training, support adoption, and lead change management initiativesVendor management and software licensing expertiseMicrosoft 365 certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, or Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert) strongly preferredThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
