This role will be responsible for evaluating technologies, defining data models, and ensuring scalable, high-performing database architecture across the enterprise.ResponsibilitiesDesign and review data architectures for enterprise applications and platformsDevelop conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsEvaluate and recommend appropriate relational, analytical, and NoSQL data platformsSupport application teams during discovery and solution design phasesDefine standards for database design, performance, scalability, and reliabilityPartner with engineers and architects to support integration, ETL, streaming, and analytics initiativesGuide cloud migration and modernization effortsQualifications10+ years of Database/Data Architecture experienceAdvanced data modeling expertiseExperience designing architectures across OLTP, ODS, OLAP, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse environmentsStrong knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and modern cloud-based data platformsExperience with Snowflake and AWS data servicesUnderstanding of relational and NoSQL databasesStrong architecture decision-making and consulting skillsExperience supporting performance, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery requirementsPreferred ExperienceAWSSnowflakeTalendSparkPythonData Governance and MDM exposureIdeal CandidateAn experienced architect who understands where transactional, operational, analytical, and document-based data platforms fit best and can confidently guide application teams toward the right architectural decisions.
