Job Title: Special Educator with ABA Training Compensation: $100-$130 per hour; paid bi-weeklyEmployment Type: W-2 Part-Time Employee; Non-ExemptSchedule: Varies based on the caseLocation: This is an in-person role based out of the New York City MetroApplication Method: Apply via Paylocity ( Click here to view our current list of Open Cases )Role SummarySpecial Educators with ABA Training will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing behavior analytic and educational services utilizing functional assessment and analyses, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills consistent with behavior analytic principles.Special Educator ResponsibilitiesProvide direct 1:1 service with the client in the home or school setting based on case scheduleConduct assessments and develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans (assessments may include but are not limited to: VB-MAPP, AFLS, SKILLS, and FBAs)Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment and behavior intervention plans, programs, and stimuli as needed for treatment goalsProvide services to the individual, family and/or related service providers using evidence-based modalitiesActively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming and therapy goalsComplete timely and compliant clinical documentationComplete established number of direct service hours based on caseloadParticipate in clinical consultation, supervision, or team meetings as requiredAdhere to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and company policiesCompensation & BenefitsCompensation: $100-$130 per hourEmployee referral and case-specific bonuses available, with uncapped earning potential.401(k) retirement plan with employer matchBilling, scheduling, and intake supportFlexible scheduling and telehealth optionsProfessional Reimbursement (for hourly, w-2 employees): A one-time reimbursement of up to $100 per calendar year (Please note: In order to receive this reimbursement, you MUST be in good standing with all HR related documentation.)Access to a comprehensive ABA professional development program at no cost RequirementsSpecial Educator Required QualificationsActive, unrestricted certification as a Special Educator in New York StateMaster's or doctoral degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related human services fieldFormal training in the analysis of behavior and instructional strategies, training related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with clientKnowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavioral Intervention Plans and skill acquisition programs (including DTT and naturalistic ABA approaches) for individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors across the age groupsAbility to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal directionParticipation in ongoing in-house training and required professional developmentAbout Manhattan Psychology Group:Manhattan Psychology Group is a multidisciplinary practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, wrap-around care to individuals, families, and communities.
