Job Description CFO / Controller – Transportation & LogisticsSan Antonio, Texas(Local candidates preferred | Relocation considered)Established trucking and logistics company seeking an experienced CFO / Controller to lead all financial and accounting operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in transportation, trucking, freight brokerage, or logistics operations.The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of senior-level accounting and financial management experience, including oversight of multi-division operations, cash flow management, banking relationships, budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, and operational cost controls.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all accounting and financial functions including:Financial statements & month-end closeAccounts payable & receivablePayroll & payroll tax reportingCash flow forecasting & treasury managementBanking & financing relationshipsBudgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysisManage operational cost controls and improve financial performanceSupport ownership with strategic planning and business growth initiativesWork closely with operations, dispatch, logistics, and purchasing teamsAssist with contract negotiations, vendor management, and risk managementQualifications10+ years of experience as a CFO, Controller, VP of Finance, or senior accounting leaderStrong background in trucking, transportation, freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain industriesExperience managing multi-entity or multi-divisional operations preferredStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash management, and operational accountingExperience with McLeod or transportation accounting systemsProven leadership, communication, and organizational skillsMust be located in San Antonio, TX or willing to relocateCompetitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications.Please submit resume and salary requirements for consideration.
