Success in this role comes down to accuracy, pace, and discretion. Someone who can take light direction, navigate where to find the right information, and consistently input clean data into Sage without handholding. Just as important, they need to be trustworthy and low-profile, given the sensitivity of the information, while staying focused on helping the team get back to normal reporting within a tight 6–8-week window.What You'll Do:Process and enter approximately 200 K-1 and 1099 documents into the general ledger within Sage across ~60 entities. Support a time-sensitive 6–8 week push to reconcile and complete accounting records following a system transition from QuickBooks to Sage. Review source documents and follow internal guidance to accurately locate, interpret, and input K-1 data fields. Maintain organized documentation and ensure all entries are properly categorized by entity and account structure. Work through a high-volume workload with speed and precision, prioritizing completion without sacrificing accuracy. Collaborate minimally but effectively with the internal team to clarify data entry requirements or resolve discrepancies. Uphold strict confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial information, including signing and adhering to an NDA.What You'll Have:Demonstrated experience working with K-1s (required), including familiarity with key fields and reporting structures. Strong general ledger data entry experience, ideally within Sage or a similar ERP/accounting system. Experience supporting multi-entity environments, with the ability to manage and track work across numerous entities simultaneously. High attention to detail with a track record of maintaining accuracy in high-volume, deadline-driven work. Ability to ramp quickly with limited training and operate independently with minimal oversight. Strong organizational skills to manage document flow, data entry tracking, and completion status.
