Assistant Manager - Restaurant

The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food service, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to team management. *Responsibilities* * Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures * Supervise and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food delivery * Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently * Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS * Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste * Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas * Train new team members on food handling, customer service protocols, and operational procedures * Support shift management by scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and resolving operational issues promptly * Assist in budgeting efforts and monitor financial performance to meet business goals * Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences in casual dining or quick-service settings *Experience* * Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry * Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management * Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing * Experience with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures * Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, interviewing, and team management * Knowledge of budgeting practices within a hospitality environment * Prior experience in casual dining, quick service restaurants, or fine dining establishments is preferred * Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence * Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Assistant Manager – Restaurant and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences!
