Our client, a leader in the AI space, is looking for Robotics Lab Operators for ongoing contract roles. This role is at least a 90 day commitment, with the strong likelihood of extension!This role requires 5 days on site in San Francisco, CA!Shifts & Pay Morning Shift (6:30am–2:30pm) Mon-Fri (A): $24/hr pay Morning Shift (6:30am–2:30pm) Wed-Sun (B): $24/hr pay Morning Shift (6:30am–2:30pm) Sat-Tues (C): $27/hr pay Swing Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) Mon-Fri (A): $24/hr pay Swing Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) Wed-Sun (B): $24/hr pay Swing Shift (2:30pm–10:30pm) Sat-Tues (C): $27/hr pay Night Shift (10:30pm–6:30am) Mon-Fri (A): $27/hr pay Night Shift (10:30pm–6:30am) Wed-Sun (B): $27/hr pay Night Shift (10:30pm–6:30am) Sat-Tues (C): $30/hr pay Job Description:As a Lab Operator, you’ll play a key role in supporting data collection in our Robotics Lab. You’ll work closely with the Lab Operations team to perform routine tests, collect data, and help maintain a clean and safe environment—all critical for our research, development, and quality assurance efforts.What You’ll Do:- Operate robots and follow clear, step-by-step data collection tasks- Use a tablet to guide and record simple movements or routines- Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe- Assist with equipment setup and moving as needed- Follow instructions and communicate with team members and leaders- Complete required safety training and adhere to lab safety proceduresWhat We’re Looking For:- Experience in a lab, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is helpful but not required- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious- Comfortable standing and being active for most of your shiftPhysical & Work Environment:- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds- Frequent use of both arms and hands to handle equipment and controls- Standard lab environment (moderate noise, clean workspace)- Reasonable accommodations are available in accordance with applicable lawsWhy You’ll Love It Here:- No prior robotics experience required—just an interest in an exciting field!- Supportive and collaborative team environment- Convenient location near public transitApex Benefits:Apex offers a comprehensive range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and more.
