DevOps Engineer

DevOps EngineerWe are seeking a DevOps Engineer to support our technology transformation by assisting with the migration of digital applications to the public cloud. This role involves a combination of technical leadership and hands-on application support to plan, review, and execute the migration. The successful candidate will focus on performance engineering for cloud migration across key digital platforms, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and write complex code with a focus on automation.Conduct application performance reviews and apply appropriate tuning.Utilize behavioral analytics to provide traffic forecasts and take necessary actions.Review monitoring aspects and set up appropriate monitors for support teams.Work to improve service availability.Configure, tune, maintain, and install application systems, validating their functionality.Automate the provisioning of environments for the DevOps tool chain.Develop and enable continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) for the DevOps tool set.Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile/DevOps principles.Assist with application system problem resolution.Required QualificationsA minimum of 3-6 years of experience in the following areas is required.Technical SkillsHands-on knowledge with microservices architecture, Java Spring Boot API development, React front end, and relational databases.Experience with private/public cloud environments, particularly Azure.Proficiency with diagnostics tools to identify the root cause in application code.Experience working with complex web/mobile development projects.Technical knowledge with experience supporting large-scale applications.Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.The interview process will consist of two video rounds.
