The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is organized, responsible, punctual, self-motivated, has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate should be able to relate to people of all backgrounds and abilities and have a demonstrable interest, knowledge, and passion for customer service and hospitality.PREREQUISITES: At least 2 years of experience as a host in a fine-dining setting. Have the ability to work under pressure. Have the ability to multi-task and handle high volume. Well-organized and detail-oriented. Be an active team player. Be able to deliver an excellent customer service experience at all times. Responsibilities Greet incoming and departing guests warmly; escort them to assigned dining area. Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service. Take and check reservations - online and over the phone. Maintain paper menu supplies. Monitor voicemail, take-away, and reservation systems. Assign and update reservations system. Maintain host stands stocked with supplies. Assist with bagging and tracking takeaway orders. Alert staff of VIP guests. Clean and sanitize host stands and host stand supplies. Monitor to-go and generic Manuela emails. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
