Assistant Golf Professional

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Golf Professional to join our team at our premier golf facility. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in sports and physical education. This role offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise with golfers of all skill levels while promoting a welcoming and engaging environment. Prior experience in coaching, teaching, or working with diverse age groups is highly valued, along with skills in behavior management and sports instruction. Responsibilities Provide professional golf instruction to players of all ages and skill levels, including beginners and advanced golfers Develop personalized coaching plans to improve technique, strategy, and overall performance Organize and lead golf clinics, workshops, and group lessons to enhance player engagement Maintain the safety of all participants by enforcing proper etiquette and safety protocols on the course and practice areas Assist in managing golf events, tournaments, and special programs to ensure smooth operations Foster a positive learning environment that encourages skill development, sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game Collaborate with staff to promote club memberships, programs, and community outreach initiatives Requirements Proven experience in golf coaching or instruction; additional experience in sports coaching, or teaching physical education is advantageous Experience working with students or children in various settings including childcare or health clubs Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage behavior effectively and motivate learners of all ages Demonstrated ability to teach complex skills clearly and patiently Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed for events or lessons Join our team as a Golf Professional where you can combine your passion for sports with your talent for teaching others.
