Problem Gambling Services Program Specialist- HYBRID (Prog Admin 2)
What You'll Do:
Reports to the Manager of Problem Gambling Services as the Problem Gambling Services Program Specialist.
Works with partners across the state to establish and modify services for problem gamblers.
Develops measures to monitor effectiveness of problem gambling services.
Administers and monitors problem gambling programs, research, and workforce initiatives.
Handles non-routine administrative duties for the Problem Gambling program.
Formulates and implements responsible gambling policies and procedures.
Assists in coordinating the problem gambling hotline operations.
Coordinates with other agencies on campaigns and protocol changes.
Administers the Voluntary Exclusion Program (VEP):
Enrolls and dis-enrolls applicants
Communicates with VEP enrollees
Maintains VEP database
Submits information to gambling operators
Works with OCCC Gaming Agents and Office Managers on local VEP processes
Assists Legal and Enforcement divisions with VEP violations and confiscated winnings.
Coordinates submission of statutorily required problem gambling plan.
Works with Communications on quarterly responsible gambling newsletter.

Qualifications
4 yrs. trg. or 4 yrs. exp. in business administration management science or public administration.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file; 2 yrs. trg. or 2 yrs. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
Or 1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above

Supplemental Information
Compensation
Starting compensation for this position is $30.96 hourly/$64,397 annually with the opportunity to advance in pay after six months. This position is in Pay Range 12, please visit Pay Range Table for more information.
Background Check Information
The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check, including a BCI/FBI fingerprint.
