Electrical CAD Technician – Onsite Opportunity We are seeking a motivated Electrical CAD Technician to join our team in a full-time, onsite role. This position supports engineers, designers, and detailers in developing high-quality drafting and design solutions across a variety of projects, including potential federal work.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled in AutoCAD, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement efforts within a collaborative team environment. This role plays an important part in preparing, revising, and maintaining engineering drawings while ensuring compliance with company and client drafting standards.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and revise engineering drawings from sketches and layoutsUpdate and maintain plot drawingsAdhere to company and discipline drafting standardsUtilize standard drafting detail programsSupport continuous drafting improvement initiativesResearch design solutions and recommend improvementsAssist with documentation and ad hoc project tasksPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:High School Diploma/GED with coursework in Drafting TechnologyMinimum of 2 years of relevant CAD experienceStrong proficiency in AutoCADSpecialized CAD certification preferredMinimum GPA of 3.0Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Self-motivated with leadership potential and desire to grow professionallyMust be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without sponsorshipThis is a full-time onsite position (no hybrid or remote option).
