This individual will manage the accounting team and serve as a key partner to leadership on financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate, timely financial reportingPrepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and supporting schedulesOwn revenue recognition under ASC 606, including complex SaaS and subscription-based arrangementsDevelop and maintain SaaS performance metrics, including ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, gross margin, and related KPIsPartner closely with FP&A to align financial reporting with forecasting and planningPrepare financial reporting packages for private equity sponsors and board-level presentationsLead lender reporting and ensure ongoing covenant complianceOversee core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and general ledger activitiesManage subscription billing platforms and ERP system integrationsEnsure tax compliance across sales tax, income tax, and applicable international requirementsOversee cash forecasting and liquidity managementDrive process improvements and automation to scale the accounting function efficientlyEstablish, maintain, and enhance internal controls appropriate for a private company environmentCoordinate with external auditors and manage annual audit and tax preparation processesPartner cross-functionally with FP&A, Sales, Product, and other stakeholders on strategic initiativesQualificationsBig 4 or top-tier public accounting background preferred5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a SaaS or subscription-based business preferred Strong technical accounting expertise, particularly in ASC 606 revenue recognitionExperience operating in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with evolving prioritiesExperience managing international or distributed teamsAdvanced Excel skills; SQL experience a plusExperience managing subscription billing platforms and ERP systemsERP implementation experience a plusInternational contractor payment experiences preferredM&A experience a plusExperience monetizing payments is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholdersOn-site/Hybrid in Denver, Englewood BenefitsBe part of one of the fastest-growing companies in the United StatesReceive competitive compensation that includes a robust benefits package - medical, dental, vision, STD, HSA, FSA, free virtual mental health counseling, and many perks related to health and wellness provided by our medical carriersMedical insurance coverage is effective on the first day of employment401(k) match that is 100% immediately vestedDiscretionary and charitable time off programThe base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Salary information is provided per state regulations in CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, NY, RI, and WA.Location: Denver-area candidates preferred.
