Regional Operations Manager

divh2Regional Operations Manager/h2pThe Regional Operations Manager is responsible for leading the safe, profitable, and efficient operation of a geographical region of distribution centers. This leader collaborates closely with regional sales leadership, centralized supply chain, and centralized operations roles to harmonize processes and enhance productivity. The Regional Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day success of the region while also developing long-term strategies and continuous improvement projects that support sales growth and operational efficiency. This role involves leading diverse teams and having direct accountability for regional operational functions, including transportation, fleet management, inventory control, distribution center operations, safety, and workforce management planning./ppResponsibilities/Duties:/pullistrongOperational Performance and Management:/strong ulliOversee performance of regional operations including labor cost, inventory management, transportation needs, facility layout, and production flow./liliDevelop and manage action plans to refine performance and correct deficiencies./liliContribute to overall PL management through proper cost control, inventory planning, transportation operations, staffing, and facilities management and maintenance across the region./li/ul/lilistrongSafety and Compliance:/strong ulliLead overall workplace safety and transportation safety initiatives and results across the region./liliEnsure proper inventory control systems and physical counting events are effective and compliant across the region.
