Java Software EngineerLocation: Aurora, CO and Richardson, TX- preferred. Dulles, VA | State College, PA | El Segundo, CA- will consider strong options for these locations but they will be more selective.Clearance: TS/SCIContract: 12 months to start, potential to extend or convert to FTERequired Skills (must have)Strong software development in Java 8–15+ years of experience (P4/P5 level). 5 years+ with bachelor’s degree may be considered for strong P4 candidates, but focus is senior level talent.Preferred Skills: Development experience in:C++ and/or PythonDomain experience in satellite ground systems, including:Mission managementPlanning & schedulingCommand & telemetrySatellite operations / flight dynamicsExperience with modern architecture + development practices:MicroservicesAWSDocker / KubernetesCI/CD / DevSecOpsWork is focused on:Satellite ground systemsMission planning + schedulingConstellation operations/flight dynamics- adjacent workSystem modernization + software architecture
