Our east coast location makes our gallery easily accessible to potential auction bidders and consignors.Our company is in need of a full time Consignment Associate to add to our growing staff. The candidate gets an opportunity to handle and manage incredible inventory on a daily basis in preparation for a live auction. Applicants will excel if they are detail-oriented and enjoy organizing a physical space, working independently and utilizing a computer system to track specifics. Warehouse and inventory management experience preferred.Primary Responsibilities:Use our custom software to tag and track incoming items for future auctionsUnpack, handle and organize incoming consignmentsWork within our internal inventory database management systemEntering and updating general information into our databaseProcess incoming contractsSecondary Responsibilities:Some travel to assist in collection pick upsOccasional weekends and auction day supportSkills/Requirements:Positive attitude, pride in personal and work environment appearanceAbility to be on feet for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbsFocus on accuracy and attention to detailComputer fluency (Excel, data entry, database, general operation)Ability to quickly learn all internal software systemsStrong organizational skillsPunctualityTrainability in handling antiques and firearmsWillingness to cross train in different departments as neededAbility to work with a variety of individuals from varying backgrounds and positions within and outside of the companyGeneral inventory management skillsWarehouse organizationHigh school diploma required
