You also have a specialization in a specific domain within infrastructure engineering to drive programs or initiatives consisting of multiple technologies and applications.Job ResponsibilitiesApplies deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies focused on analyzing complex data and systems, anticipating issues, and finding ways to mitigate riskWorks with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processesBe responsible for infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirementsDrives results and implements multiple complex programsDrives thought leadership within the product lineExecutes work according to compliance standards, risk and security, and business objectivesConsiders upstream/downstream system or technical implications and advises on mitigation actionsAdvises junior engineers and technologistsAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsFormal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experienceDemonstrated expertise in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on hardware, compute terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessmentsProficiency in specific infrastructure technologies and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Scripting)Comprehensive technical knowledge across multiple domainsProven experience architecting and optimizing infrastructure that supports cloud services, emphasizing system design and configurationTechnical expertise in server hardware infrastructure engineering, with strong understanding of server hardware components and designDemonstrated knowledge of new technologies in the server hardware spaceExperience in hardware performance testing and evaluation, including metrics and telemetry analysisAbility to analyze and interpret hardware performance data using SPEC benchmarks, Phoronix, and MLPerfFamiliarity with industry-standard testing tools and methodologiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsExposure to managing budgetsExperience collaborating with hardware manufacturers and suppliersKnowledge of hardware lifecycle management and optimization, including automating firmware security scanning and deployment processesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentFEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT: This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
