Case Manager

Hands of Healing’s Child Placement Agency seeks a responsible Case Manager that is a compassionate, care-driven professional who believes in facilitating wellness for clients and their families. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in Social Services Case Management (Non- Profit) be well versed in policies and procedures as it pertains to working for a Child Placement Agency. The Case Manager will be responsible for but not limited to: Scheduling and conducting weekly and/or monthly home visits Documentation (Treatment Plans, Summary Reports, etc.) Establishing a professional rapport with the clients, their families and anyone who provides services to them or cares for them Work with families to help them understand how to create a more productive environment for each family member, especially the children placed in their homes Collaborate with other public resources to get the best results possible for each family Other duties as assigned The Case Manager must have or be able to: Bachelor’s Degree (Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with (in) MS Word, MS Excel and Windows-based operating systems Flexible and willing to work to meet all deadlines (sometimes beyond normal business hours) Proven time management and organizational skills Bilingual applicants are highly desired (PREFERRED) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77060 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Houston, TX 77060: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
