Overview
In this Salesforce Developer role, you will modernize and consolidate the Consular Systems Modernization program for the Department of State, shaping Salesforce-based solutions that meet complex government requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and govern CRM/CX capabilities across lifecycles. You’ll tackle integration, security, and performance challenges to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, prototype, test, and demonstrate capabilities to usersMerge code, resolve conflicts, and deploy to sandboxes/test environments; support deployments to higher environments and productionBuild custom applications using declarative customization (flows, App Builder)Design solution roadmaps for service modernization using Salesforce Platform (out-of-the-box and customized solutions)Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and customers to architect Salesforce solutionsDesign and develop business functionalities using Salesforce CRM/CX technologiesPerform fit-gap analysis mapping Salesforce capabilities to requirementsDocument, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions across lifecyclesAddress security and compliance requirements for sandbox and development environmentsDevelop interfaces and integrations from Salesforce to external systemsReview project direction and ensure solutions are extendable and maintainableEnsure testing, performance, and security meet business expectations
