Position: Sourcing Specialist (MerchandiserLocated: Rockwell, NCSalary: $65,000-$70,000** College Degree Required**Overview:We are currently seeking an entry-level Procurement Coordinator to join our growing organization. This role supports core procurement initiatives by expediting and releasing new orders while serving as a key liaison between procurement, suppliers, sales, and customer service.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, highly responsive, and eager to grow within operations and supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow up on open orders with vendors and communicate updates internallyMaintain accurate due dates within the ERP systemManage routine drop-ship and impromptu purchase ordersServe as a primary point of contact with vendors for Sales, Customer Service, and ProcurementCoordinate pickups with suppliers and the internal shipping teamNegotiate with vendors and carriers to secure the best freight ratesPerform additional duties as assigned by managementQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh sense of urgency and responsivenessProficient in data entry and general computer skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyProven track record of reliability and attendanceSelf-directed and responsible work styleAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationDetail-oriented and highly organized
