Project Manager
Overview
In this role, you will lead microgrid construction projects from contract signing to commissioning, coordinating internal teams to deliver on time and on budget. You will work across cross-functional groups to align stakeholders and drive project success while scaling the project management function as the company grows. You’ll manage third-party relationships, bids, and budgets to ensure smooth execution. This is a hands-on position at a fast-paced, private-equity backed growth business with a meaningful impact on resilient energy infrastructure.

ResponsibilitiesLead individual microgrid construction projects from contract to commissioningCoordinate internal functions (Business Development, Engineering, Service) to align during executionCreate project schedules, operating rhythms, and sequences of operations for stakeholdersManage third-party agreements and relationships with subcontractors and vendorsOversee bid solicitation, bid reviews, subcontractor negotiations, and final budgetsTrack costs and schedules to ensure on-time deliveryIdentify and resolve conflicts and implement solutionsContribute to building out the Project Management function to support growth
Key requirements7+ years of experience in construction management, general contracting, logistics, engineering, energy industry, or military experienceUnderstanding of building code and regulationsExcellent communication and customer service skillsCritical thinking and creative problem-solving skillsProactive, autonomous, and able to represent Scale in customer-facing situationsSome experience with logistics or project management softwareBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredcommunication skillscustomer servicecritical thinkingproactive mindsetproject management softwareknowledge of building code and regulations
