All Campus Security is known for its commitment to excellence and innovation in securing various environments.Role DescriptionAll Campus Security is seeking a full-time Video Surveillance, Access Control and structured cabler for an on-site role located in the Greater Houston area. The technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining devices and systems, cabling, and work in concert with the Installation Team. Day-to-day tasks include performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and calibration on hardware and systems, as well as ensuring installations meet industry standards. You will collaborate with the engineering team and clients to deliver efficient and reliable security solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation of video surveillance cameras, troubleshooting and putting cameras on VIProficiency in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance of security systems and cabling infrastructure.Knowledge of Instrumentation and Calibration techniques for access control and cabling systems.Understanding of basic principles of electricity and its application to security and cabling systems.Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety codes.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Prior experience in security system installation and structured cabling is an advantage.Relevant certifications or training in access video surveillance, control systems, cabling, or electrical work are preferred.Manufacturer certifications sought are IPro, Advidea, Milestone, Hanwha, Avigilon, etc.Key QualificationsProven history of upward mobility within roles.Hands-on experience in security integration or related field is strongly preferred, such as the deployment of hardware and software related to Video Surveillance, Access Control, Networking, and General Low Voltage Cabling.General knowledge of Microsoft 365 is a must.Must be able to read or learn to read, Progress Drawings, Floor Plans, or Takeoffs.Applicants must pass Background Check and Drug Screening.Applicants must have been issued a Texas DPS Security license.Bonus QualificationsCertifications on specific security platforms such as Milestone’s XProtect, Genetec, i-PRO, Open Options, Avigilon, Motorola, Verkada, Bosch, etc.Experience with Procore’s Construction Software.Why Join ACS?ACS offers Competitive Pay, Healthcare, Benefits and a 3% IRA Matching ProgramIndustry and certification training is paid for those demonstrating the desire to further their credentials, and willing to devote 50% training on their own time.
