Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

Position Summary Lead End User Computing (EUC) Engineer – Brea, California. Join our Global IT support organization to drive the digital workplace experience across the enterprise. The role requires four days per week on site in the Brea office and will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for delivering and enhancing endpoint management, automation, virtual desktop, and security solutions. Key Responsibilities Endpoint Engineering & Device Management Lead the engineering, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise endpoint management platforms. Design, maintain, and optimize Windows device imaging and provisioning processes. Manage enterprise laptop and workstation patching strategies to ensure compliance, stability, and security. Support modern endpoint management initiatives using Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) technologies. Develop and maintain hardware and software standards across the organization. Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, including provisioning, deployment, refresh, and retirement processes. Software Packaging & Deployment Create, test, deploy, and maintain software packages using SCCM/MECM and Intune. Manage enterprise software deployment strategies and application lifecycle processes. Troubleshoot deployment failures and optimize deployment automation and reporting. Ensure application compatibility and alignment with enterprise standards. Digital Workplace & Employee Experience Enhance the overall digital workplace experience through proactive engineering, automation, and service optimization. Partner with IT Service Management (ITSM), Service Desk, and Field Services teams to improve employee satisfaction and service delivery outcomes. Develop scalable solutions that improve usability, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain automation solutions using PowerShell and related scripting technologies. Automate operational tasks, deployments, provisioning workflows, reporting, and remediation activities. Drive operational efficiency through automation and process standardization initiatives. Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Support and administer Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)/Azure VDI environments. Optimize virtual desktop performance, scalability, availability, and user experience. Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to support hybrid workplace initiatives. Remote Support & Security Tools Administer and support remote support and privileged access tools including Bomgar and BeyondTrust. Ensure endpoint security standards and governance requirements are maintained. Partner closely with cybersecurity teams to support compliance and endpoint protection initiatives. Documentation & Operational Excellence Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering standards, operational procedures, and runbooks. Create knowledge articles and operational documentation to support consistent service delivery. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and operational governance activities. Vendor & MSP Partnership Collaborate with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure operational alignment, accountability, and service excellence. Provide technical leadership and governance oversight for outsourced EUC support functions. Drive adherence to enterprise standards, SLAs, KPIs, and operational best practices. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 6‑10+ years of experience in End User Computing, Desktop Engineering, or Workplace Technology roles in a global environment. Strong understanding of modern workplace technologies and endpoint security best practices. Experience supporting enterprise‑scale global environments. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across endpoint and virtual desktop platforms. Microsoft Intune, SCCM / MECM, Windows endpoint management, imaging and provisioning solutions, PowerShell scripting and automation, Citrix and Azure VDI environments, Mobile Device Management (MDM), software packaging and deployment, endpoint patch management, Bomgar / BeyondTrust. Microsoft certifications related to Intune, Azure, Endpoint Management, or Modern Workplace technologies. Experience operating within ITIL or IT Service Management (ITSM) environments. Experience working within a multi‑vendor or Managed Services operating model. Experience supporting automation and digital transformation initiatives. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience integrating EUC solutions with enterprise security controls. Advanced knowledge of scripting languages beyond PowerShell. Experience with audit and compliance reporting tools. Familiarity with cloud resource management and cost optimization. Target Market Salary Range $145,000 - $193,000 per year (including performance bonus, benefits, 401K match, and other compensation).
